Speaking to investors during Motorola's Q2 2010 earnings call, Motorola co-CEO Sanjay Jha discussed MOTOBLUR and its importance to Motorola. "We have decided that we will focus on the value proposition of products and not MOTOBLUR as a brand name in its own right," Jha said. He added that MOTOBLUR continues to be important to Motorola, but that it's not going to be Motorola's focus going forward. MOTOBLUR has been an important part of Motorola's advertising push for its Android handsets, although the company didn't advertise the functionality in its most recent DROID X smartphone.
