A class-action lawsuit has been filed in California against T-Mobile USA. A subscriber named Trent Alvarez brought the case to court because he claims "Nowhere on [its] contract does T-Mobile USA disclose its invisible data cap." After surpassing 10GB, T-Mobile limited Alvarez's throughput to just 50Kbps. According to CourtHouseNews.com, Alvarez believe's T-Mobile's advertisements of "unlimited" data plans are false advertising. As of today,T-Mobile USA clearly lists a 5GB "data per month" cap on its "overage free plan" advertisements.
