Today Dell announced that its Streak tablet-esque smartphone will be available to the general public this Friday, August 13th. Those who registered for a pre-sale can order the device this Thursday. The Dell Streak will cost $299.99 with a 2-year AT&T contract or $549.99 without a contract. The Streak is powered by a 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and runs Android 1.6.
